- Integrated Pest Management (IPM) system for harmful organisms, such as insects and fungi.
- Development of innovative detection technologies :
• Detection of symptoms of plant diseases and pests using robotic systems, smart (IoT & AI) devices, and mobile applications in real time. - Creation of a Decision Support System (DSS) employing Machine Learning algorithms, while simultaneously ensuring data security and verification through Blockchain and Cybersecurity technologies.
- Demonstration, testing, and evaluation of use under real-world conditions: greenhouses in Greece and Spain.
- Supporting the objectives of the Green Deal for a 50% reduction in the use of chemical and hazardous plant protection products by 2030.
- Engagement of stakeholders through a whole-value-chain “Farm to Fork” approach.
